Work2BeWell National Student Advisory Council member featured in Southern Maryland News

Sofia is a junior at Chopticon High School in Maryland. She’s a member of Work2BeWell’s National Student Advisory Council and she serves as co-team leader for the Access Team.

Work2BeWell, a national mental health and wellness program focused on providing mental health resources and education for teens, parents, and educators, recently announced its 2023-2024 National Student Advisory Council (NSAC).

The NSAC is comprised of 39 high schoolers, ranging in grade from freshman to senior, who are based across the U.S. and committed to addressing the ongoing youth mental health crisis. Sofia, a junior at Chopticon High School, is a member of the NSAC and she serves as co-team leader for the Access Team.

Sofia was recently featured in Southern Maryland News where she shared about her work on the NSAC and what she hopes to accomplish as a member of the student organization.
