Providence awarded Mental Health America Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health

Providence is proud to announce that it has been awarded a 2024 Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America (MHA). The Bell Seal is a first-of-its-kind workplace mental health certification recognizing employers striving to create mentally healthy workplaces for their employees.

The Bell Seal recognizes employer advances in workplace mental health by awarding Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum recognition levels.  Gaining status as a Bell Seal-certified organization demonstrates Providence‘s ongoing commitment to employee mental health and well-being.

As health care workers, we focus on those we care for, and our caregivers may sometimes forget to focus on their own mental wellness. At Providence, we are committed to providing our caregivers and members of their household with tools and resources to support them throughout their health and well-being journey; delivering on our Promise to ‘know me, care for me, ease my way,’ said Arpan Waghray, CEO of Providence’s Well Being Trust.

“It’s an honor to receive the Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America, and we look forward to continuing the effort to enhance caregiver well-being”.

The Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health is the most recent milestone in Providence’s effort to enhance worker well-being. Providence also signed on to be a National Academy of Medicine Change Maker, a national movement to support health workforce well-being, and Providence’s My Mental Health Matters program was named a winner in Ragan’s Workplace Wellness Awards in the Mental Health Initiative category.
