New Bipartisan Policy Center Report: Filling the Gaps in the Behavioral Health Workforce

Behavioral health issues like mental health and substance use disorder are rising, but so is the shortage of licensed behavioral health professionals.

The Bipartisan Policy Center released a new report and recommendations to close that gap by integrating other professionals—peer specialists, community health workers, community members with shared experience, and others—into behavioral health care.
