Ben Miller & Kristin Wikelius Op-ed: A Vision for Getting Mental Health Care Right

There’s a lot that state policymakers could do to move us toward treating it the same as physical health. Deaths from suicides in the United States rose faster between 2016 and 2017 than in previous years, increasing by 4 percent to more than 47,000, according to a new analysis of data from the National Center for Health Statistics. It was the largest increase since data collection began in 1999.
