Strengthening community partnerships: Providence and VOA Alaska collaborate to help youth find a brighter future

“Valencia Little’s journey from a troubled childhood to finding her path through Volunteers of America, Alaska is a testament to resilience. Growing up in an unstable home, Valencia had to fend for herself, leading her to fall into harmful habits by age 13.”

Learn how the Volunteers of America (VOA) Alaska’s Transition Age Youth Services program is helping youth like Valencia find a better future by offering mental health and substance-use services, employment, education assistance and housing support.

Providence’s Well Being Trust is honored to partner alongside Providence Alaska and the Providence Alaska Foundation to support the VOA Alaska’s Transition-Age Youth Services.
