May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a time recognizes and celebrate the many historical and cultural contributions of Asian Americans, Pacific Islander Americans, and Native Hawaiians.
It’s also a time to raise awareness about the unique mental health challenges faced by AAPI communities. According to Mental Health America, 15% of all Asian American or Pacific Islander individuals – over 2.9 million people – reported mental illness in the last year. As we observe AAPI Heritage Month, Providence’s Well Being Trust is sharing the following list of resources to better serve our AAPI communities.
