Senior Clinical Advisor

Dr. Robin Henderson is the Chief Executive of Behavioral Health for Providence Oregon where she has direct and matrixed responsibility for acute, specialty and ambulatory behavioral health services in a system serving nearly 100,000 individuals each year.

She also serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for Work2BeWell, a youth lead mental health education, activation and advocacy program that creates clinically vetted curriculum for schools and youth groups. In this role she works with their National Student Advisory Council, their grassroots advocacy campaigns including the new Oregon law giving students Mental Health Days and hosts the #Talk2BeWell podcast focusing on youth mental health and well-being. She is also an advisory member of the Providence Community Partnership Mental Health Advisory Group, overseeing investments in mental health and substance use disorders, and a Senior Clinical Advisor to Well Being Trust.

Dr. Henderson spends WAY too much time serving on committees and boards, most recently including the Children’s System of Care Council, the Oregon Health Policy Board’s Behavioral Health Metrics and Outcomes Committee,  the Governor’s 988 Task Force, the Children and Youth with Special Health Needs Task Force, the Governor’s Behavioral Health Advisory Council, the Confederation of School Administrator’s Social and Emotional Well-Being workgroup, and the Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative.

She is past president of the NAMI Oregon board where she still serves, the board of Youth Villages, and is past Chair of CCO Oregon. Dr. Henderson is a past president of the Oregon Psychological Association and continues to serve on their Legislative Committee, and is a member of Divisions 31, 38 and 55.

She has a PsyD from George Fox University, and a post-doc in integrated health psychology. She lives in West Linn with her husband, two children (when they aren’t away at college), two cats, and a bearded dragon where she practices the art of pie.
